I have a problem with bulky, ugly protective covers. You know...cell phone covers, iPod covers, grill covers, those large black covers that go over the front of a vehicle? If I understand it correctly, their purpose is to help make sure that your electronic device, vehicle, or other possession stays in good shape and does not get scratched and ugly. But how does it help the situation to make your possession ugly in the process of trying to keep it beautiful? I'd like to give people the benefit of the doubt; perhaps other people use these protective covers for other reasons. I have noticed that there are some attractive covers out there, but usually they're rather large and ugly.
In general though, I don't get the point!
